Tom Ford Tobacco Vanille Body Spray and Orchid Soleil Fragrance Review (Video)

Here’s the thing… When it comes to fragrances, I am pretty much from the if I can’t eat it, I don’t want it on my body school of thought. Now before you picture me spritzing mashed potato and gravy or teriyaki chicken scented fragrances up in the air and letting them land on me, please be assured that is not what I am talking about. I am definitely here for the lovely vanillas, and the sugary scents, and those spicy notes. Think baked goods, not Banquet TV Dinner. Do they still make…

Favorite: Luxury Skincare Edit 2016 Edition

It is the first Friday of the month, which I have deemed here and on my YouTube Channel as Favorites First Friday. This particular favorites post will be all of the skincare products that I couldn’t live without this past year. I really had to edit this list or else it would have turned into skincare faves weekend. So without prolonging this intro or bombarding you with too much chit chat, lets dive in.   Favorite Cleansers Boscia Charcoal Deep Pore Cleansing Stick Treatment (Second Cleanse) Love that it is…

First Impressions Friday Blogmas Edition

So today I have 3 new products that I have tried and that look quite promising. Clinique Uplighting Illuminating Powder in Bronze Glow. This can be used as a highlighter, bronzer, or a setting powder. I purchased it on Wednesday and I used it Thursday and this morning to set my makeup. It gave me a nice glowing finish without being too glittery or making my face shiny and the particular color choice works really well on med to dark brown skin. Although it doesn’t give a matte finish, I have…

Christmas Party Get Ready With Me Blogmas Day 3

Last night we had the good fortune to attend my hubby’s company Christmas Party, which is always a really nice event. I wanted to look especially fetching. Fetching, such a cool word. It is a shame people don’t use it anymore. I decided that I wanted to make sure my skin was exfoliated, glowy and moisturized  so my morning skincare routine consisted of products that my skin loves. May Lindstrom The Honey Mud Indie Lee CoQ10 Lotion Chanel Le Weekend Caudalie Premier Cru La Creme Yeaux Josie Maran Argan Oil…

First Friday Favorites (Blogmas Edition)

It’s the first Friday of the month, a perfect time to share a few of my favorite beauty and lifestyle items from the month of November. So let’s start with Beauty Faves I am loving the Glossier Boy Brow. It is like a mascara for your eyebrows. There are lot of products like this on the market, but this one is unique in that it is thicker than mascara, so its not just depositing pigment to the brows, but it is also shaping them. I have nearly nonexistent brows. This…

Five Favorite Second Cleansers

I am a huge fan of double cleansing. I credit it with really helping to improve my skin tremendously. If you think its hype, look at it this way. At the end of the day, you have makeup and dirt and  life on your face. When you come home, you need to get that stuff off. Sure one cleanser can do it. Some people swear by wipes, micellar waters or just a simple cleanser. And if that’s working for you, that is fine. But if you are finding that you…

Dior Jelly Sleeping Mask Review

Sleeping masks are definitely moisture game changers. There is nothing like waking up in the morning with skin that feels like the bottom of a newborn’s soft little foot. Because water evaporates from the skin overnight, or in drier conditions, like flying, a sleeping mask is wonderful for drawing and sealing that water back in; it is the ultimate hydration.   My Thoughts Dior is the first sleeping mask that I have actually tried and loved. It is lightweight, not sticky and doesn’t overwhelm your face. You don’t feel as…

Holy Bath Bombs, Batman!!

Holy Bath Bombs, Batman!! I took the plunge…literally. The actual real literal use of literally, plunge and OMG was it amazing! Oh, Lush Intergalactic Bath Bomb, where have you been all my life? In my post, Cosmos in My Bath, Or Nah, I was debating whether or not to take a nice long blue soak using Lush’s psychedelic bath bomb. I had questions… Would popping candy really take me around the  Milky Way? Would peppermint and neon colour swirls send my mood rocketing? Would there be a layer of smutz…
